Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Sarasota Thursday, August 6th , 2048 As bad as the Sarasota Supernovas have been this season, some may still find it hard to believe that this early in the season, the team is already officially eliminated from playoff contention. Sarasota last appeared in the postseason in 2042. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 15 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Supernovas have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
