Veteran Parmelee Hits Three Dingers Sunday, May 8th , 2050 Dustin Parmelee was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 13-2 Indianapolis Apex triumph at The Brickyard today. The 32-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Apex past the Cancun Toros. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Parmelee told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The first baseman went 3-for-3, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs on his record-setting day. Dustin Parmelee was hit by a pitch in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Perry Hotter in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Beta Bombs in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Beta Bombs in the 6th and walked in the 7th. Currently Parmelee is batting .315 with 7 home runs and 15 RBIs. |
