Voyagers Prevail, as Semi-Finals Goes to the Wire Tuesday, September 25th , 2040 With a narrow 4-3 series win, the New York Voyagers have eliminated the Outer Banks Aviators and are Semi-Finals winners. "We tried not to look ahead to the World Series, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said catcher Barbados Slim, who was named series MVP. New York won the final game by a score of 10-2, wrapping it up at The Island. Slim's big series saw him hit .370 with a .452 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.
