Best Hurler Award Presented by PBE Saturday, October 6th , 2040 With speculation about his retirement gaining steam last offseason, Aviators ace Walker Cato had something to prove. He proved it in award-winning style as he accepted the Pro Baseball Experience Pitcher of the Year Award today. The veteran Outer Banks hurler posted a record of 17 wins and 4 losses this year with a 2.82 ERA. In 27 starts he struck out 165 and walked 22 in 194.2 innings. Kevin Choate of the New York Voyagers finished second in voting, while Austin Bentley of the Detroit Demons finished third. |
