In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Evans on the day. "Rich's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Crabs manager . "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful." In the contest, the Providence right-hander rang up 5 and surrendered 1 walk.
