Champions Conference Announces Best Starter Monday, August 1st , 2044 In July, Dirk Digglet tore through the Champions Conference like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Detroit starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 2.56 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 31.2 innings he collected 19 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .189 average.
