Hit Streak Now at 20 for City Saturday, August 6th , 2044 Nobody has been able to shut down Outer Banks Aviators third baseman Dubb City in recent days. The Detroit Demons fared no better than the rest. Today at Demon's Lair at Laser Park, City picked up 2 hits in 5 at-bats en route to a 8-5 Aviators victory. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. Dubb City struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. So far this season City is batting .285 with 3 home runs, 28 RBIs and 68 runs scored. He has 93 hits in 326 at-bats, 40 walks and a .369 OBP. City has played in 78 games. |
