Durkee Sells Team to Mike Turner Monday, October 14th , 2075 Jason Durkee turned over the keys to the Brew City Bears this afternoon to Mike Turner in a brief ceremony outside Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Mike Turner wasted no time trying to put his mark on the team. "I've made a lot of money building things that no one thought would work. I've got a track record. Some people don't like change, but you need to embrace change if the alternative is disaster," he said. "Great teams are built with great players. We're gonna go get them." Turner is said to be a demanding character, with a fiscal personality of normal. The Bears finished the regular season with a 62-46 record, first place in the West Division. |
