Indianapolis turned a good effort from starter Romeo McFlourish into a win over the Detroit Demons at The Brickyard. The Apex won the game, 2-1. The Apex, now 2-0, have played some good baseball in the early going.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Indianapolis first baseman Iesuhc Yttef, facing Xavier Pruitt, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Apex the 2-1 win.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Yttef.
