Death Valley Wins Divisional Series

After their 7-2 win today at The Aquadome over the Seattle Sea Serpents, the Death Valley Scorpions will advance to the Conference Finals. Death Valley won the series by a 3-2 margin.
Leading the way for the Scorpions was first baseman Launch Angle, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP.
"I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus."
The Conference Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.

Cancun Wins Divisional Series

The Cancun Toros and Indianapolis Apex put on a classic Divisional Series that was in question until the final game.
In the end, Cancun won the deciding contest by a score of 5-4, to take the series 3-2.
"It doesn't get much tighter than that. To win a series in the last game is a thrill," said A Starting Pitcher, who earned series MVP honors for Cancun. "Our guys are breathing a little easier now."
For the series, Pitcher hit .400 with a .455 on-base percentage. He had 5 home runs, drove in 11 RBI and scored 6 runs.
