Frigg Delling Records 200th Save, Tames New York 2-1

Buffalo Surge relief ace Frigg Delling earned a spot in an exclusive club today when he picked up his 200th-career save in the 2-1 victory over the New York Voyagers at Vaughn's House.
"When I pitch, it usually means we have a chance to win the ballgame, so I have to always be at my best for the team to win," the 35-year-old reliever said after stopping the Voyagers on no runs and no hits in his 1 innings of work.
Delling has notched 200 saves during his career.

Kove Goes Deep 3 Times

The Detroit Demons won't soon forget the display of raw power put on today by Yneas Kove of the Nashville Stars. He victimized the Demons by pounding three pitches out of Gibson Soundstage to spark his club to the 11-2 win.
"I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them," Kove told reporters. "Today I was in a groove. Tomorrow, I could just pop up the same pitches and go 0-for-3."
In addition to the homers, he collected 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs.
Yneas Kove hit a three-run home run off Korrin Abernathy Jr. in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Korrin Abernathy Jr. in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jay Blanco in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
Currently Kove is batting .353 with 5 home runs and 16 RBIs.
