Seattle Devastated by Playoff Elimination

Seattle Sea Serpents manager called today a "dark day" for his club. The Sea Serpents were officially eliminated from playoff contention and will shift their focus to next season.
"There are probably worse days in the history of the Seattle Sea Serpents, but right now this feels bad," said.
Before this season, the Sea Serpents had made the playoffs 4 times in a row. In the 36 years they have been a Pro Baseball Experience franchise, they have missed the playoffs 22 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Sea Serpents have made the playoffs 4 times. Seattle last won the World Series in 2074.

Scorpions Clinch Wild Card

The Death Valley Scorpions have won a wild card position and are off to the postseason.
"Of course we set out to win the division, but in the end it doesn't matter how you get into the playoffs, as long as you get there," said third baseman Xicoyotl Montalbán.
The team's record is currently 60-47 and they will be looking to win the 11th Pro Baseball Experience championship in team history.

Nasty Injured While Moving Furniture

Vancouver starting pitcher Chuck Nasty was injured yesterday while moving furniture at his home. Nasty is reportedly suffering from a strained lat and is expected to be out of commission for at least a couple weeks.
