Bombardier Bull-Worm the HR Challenge Champ

The 2067 Home Run Challenge took place at Full Moon Stadium. Alaskan Bull-Worm won the event, though he had to beat some stiff competition. In the final round, the New Orleans Rougarous catcher was matched against Nate Nitro. Bull-Worm defeated him by a score of 11-6.
"I was tiring a little at the end," said Bull-Worm. "I had to dig deep to pull this one out."
Bull-Worm boasts a career batting average of .251 with 567 hits, 108 homers and 362 RBIs.

Slamous Selected June's Top Newcomer

Biff Slamous is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Champions Conference Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers.
In June the Detroit hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .356 average with 32 hits, 5 home runs and 15 RBIs.
This season Slamous is batting at a .311 clip with 14 home runs and 44 RBIs.

Best Legends Rookie Named, Nod to Phillip

Pierre Phillip's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Vancouver left fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month.
In June he was voted the Rookie of the Month.
During the month he hit .345 with 6 doubles, no triples and 5 home runs. Phillip also scored 13 times and drove in 15 runs.
This year Phillip is hitting .308 with 65 hits, 8 home runs, 26 RBIs and has scored 28 runs.
