The Vancouver Vandals and starting pitcher Holly Sheet stifled the Boise offense en route to a comfortable 11-2 win at The Thunderdome. Sheet got the win, improving to 3-1. He gave up 6 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Vancouver, now 10-3, has gotten their season off to a good start.

McLovin Jr., who is tied for 5th in the Legends with a .667 slugging percentage, took Boise hurler PK-VS deep in the bottom of the first. His 3-run home run put the Vandals on top, 3-1. In all, McLovin Jr. had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
