Troy Monopolitzki was a major factor in the 9-4 Chicago win over Louisville. The Kingpins shortstop was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Kingpins improved their record to 39-38 by beating Louisville.

With Chicago trailing 3-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Monopolitzki hit a curveball from Pim Pimling for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Kingpins ahead, 5-3.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Monopolitzki.
