The Louisville Lemurs could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Pim Pimling into a win. Instead, the Brew City Bears prevailed, 3-2. Pimling threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball. Brew City reliever The Pizzanator III picked up the win to move to 2-1. John Waffle suffered the loss. Today's win puts Brew City at 50-27, while Louisville falls to 39-38.

Brew City used the timely hitting of Srevor Tory to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bears on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Tory attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
