The Chicago Kingpins beat the Kansas City Hepcats, 9-6, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. The Kingpins got a fine performance from right fielder Sparky Dee, who was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Bodhi Grizz earned the save for Chicago, his 18th of the year. Chicago is now 49-29, 7 games up in the East Division.
