Flamingos Sneak Past Bears, 2-1

The Florida Flamingos had to overcome a fine effort from Brew City pitcher Joseph Kelley to win, 2-1, at Florida Man Park. Kelley went 7.1 innings and allowed no runs. The triumph puts Florida at 42-36 for the season.
The decisive blow was delivered by Alan Greer in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 22-year old right-handed pitcher "Fire" Aaron Boone to win the game for Florida. The home crowd went nuts.
"We were in it," said Brew City manager . "We just didn't score enough runs."
