The Kansas City Hepcats got production up and down the lineup while beating the Anchorage Wheelers, 17-2. One standout was catcher Kif Kroker. Kroker, who is tied for 6th in the MiLPBE with a .332 batting average, was 4-5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The Hepcats saw their win-loss record go to 40-38. At the same time, the Wheelers fell to 32-46.

Kroker contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Kansas City in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Kroker took a sinker from Elijah Rosado and stroked the home run to left. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Hepcats to leap in front, 2-1.
