The Chicago Kingpins defeated the California Firehawks, 7-5, in Minor League PBE action at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. Chicago pitcher Avery Time had a standout performance. The Kingpins, at 36-42, have now won 4 straight.

Pookie Gambles went 1-4. He drove in 2 runs for Chicago. The 20-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off David Sears. It was his 64th hit of the season.
