Lemurs Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Swift Steeds
Behind an impressive start by Rotgut Whiskey, Louisville beat State College, 4-0. Whiskey, now 8-4, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing no runs. Earning his 3rd save for Louisville was Matt Himynamis.

Handy Manny dealt the Swift Steeds a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with the bases loaded and Louisville leading 1-0, Manny, who is tied for 5th in the MiLPBE in stolen bases with 37, hit a first pitch cutter for a run-scoring single.

"I made some pitches when I had to," said Whiskey.

With the win, the Lemurs sit at 39-39.
