Berry Jr Leads Swift Steeds to 9-7 Win Over Hepcats
State College and Kansas City duked it out and the Swift Steeds came out victorious.

The State College Swift Steeds knocked off the Kansas City Hepcats, 9-7, at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good. Andrew Berry Jr was a big reason State College won. The catcher went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Joshua Homme III Esquire Limited picked up the win with 6.1 innings of work. He allowed 5 runs on 8 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 7-7.

Jett Fyooh-uhl had a big 2-run double for the Swift Steeds in the top of the third inning. With State College leading 3-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Elijah Miller and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Swift Steeds ahead, 5-2.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Swift Steeds manager . "Not perfect, but we'll take it."

State College has now won 3 in a row.
