Swift Steeds Collect 11-4 Win Versus Brew City
The State College Swift Steeds topped the Brew City Bears by the score of 11-4, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Press Duckley Jr.. Duckley Jr. went 3-5 with a home run, a triple, and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Swift Steeds . Twain Teetoo got credit for the win, improving to 3-4. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 1.2 innings. The Swift Steeds improve their record to 44-35 with the win over Brew City.

State College used the clutch hitting of Bazooka Slow to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Swift Steeds ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.
