Florida Slaps 3-2 Loss on Kansas City
|
The Kansas City Hepcats were defeated, 3-2, by the Florida Flamingos at Florida Man Park, even though Jimothy Pitchet pitched well for Kansas City. Knuckle Puck, who is tied for 2nd in the MiLPBE in quality starts with 11, was the winner. He's now 8-5. The loser was Jimothy Pitchet. Getting the save was LaLa Dee, his 3rd.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Flamingos had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when center fielder Ozzy Batty hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Jimothy Pitchet and made the score 2-0, Flamingos. Batty went 1-3.
"I was a little disappointed," said Kansas City manager . "We could've and should've scored more runs."
After today's action, Florida sits at 45-34; Kansas City slips to 32-47.
