Lincoln-Mercury Powers Hepcats to 7-6 Win
Kansas City left fielder Ford Lincoln-Mercury made his presence felt in the 7-6 Hepcats triumph over the Chicago Kingpins. Lincoln-Mercury was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. With the victory, the Hepcats record now stands at 33-46.

Lincoln-Mercury had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-2 sinker from Skooma Skooma-kun, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Hepcats a 7-5 lead. It was the 19th home run of the year for Lincoln-Mercury.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Kansas City manager .
