California Firehawks starter Ingrid Keelhauler pitched a strong game against the Amarillo Armadillos at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites, leading the Firehawks to victory, 8-3. The Firehawks saw their record improve to 42-37.

California used a well-timed hit by Slim Mahogany to capture the win. The left fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Firehawks ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

Mahogany attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
