The Florida Flamingos reigned over the Anchorage Wheelers in damp conditions.

The Florida Flamingos withstood a fine game by Anchorage second baseman Keon Lennedy at Florida Man Park, to upend the Wheelers, 6-4. Lennedy hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Florida, at 35-45, sits in 4th place in the East Division.

Florida took a 6-4 lead on Moon Shot's 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Shot hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Anchorage pitcher Greg Buse shaking his head.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Shot.
