Lemurs Absorb 6-1 Home Loss
|
The Florida Flamingos picked up a win at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle, taking down the Louisville Lemurs, 6-1. Starting pitcher Daithi Kennedy-Senan was a big reason why. Florida improves to 51-29 with the win. They lead their division by 11 games.
Florida used a well-timed hit by Alan Greer to capture the win. The center fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Flamingos ahead, 4-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Kennedy-Senan.
