Kingpins Need Extra Frames to Get Past Swift Steeds
Chicago Kingpins starter Hunter Kratky pitched his team past the State College Swift Steeds , 3-0, in 13 innings. Chicago reliever Vin Vonvanovitch picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Porygon Two was saddled with the loss. Chicago occupies second place in the East Division at 44-36.

Chicago used the timely hitting of Corey Wilson to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 13th inning to put the Kingpins on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Wilson.
