State College first baseman Kota Mizushima helped his team beat the Anchorage Wheelers, 11-6. Mizushima, who is tied for 10th in the MiLPBE in triples with 2, went 4 for 5 for the Swift Steeds . Kyle Johnson picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Joshua Chambers was tagged with the loss. Twain Teetoo recorded the save for State College, his 7th of the season.

State College needed the clutch hitting of Edward Mackinlay to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Swift Steeds on top, 10-6. For the game, Mackinlay had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

Mizushima told a State College News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
