Tim Infinity pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The State College Swift Steeds , despite Infinity's fine outing, dropped a 3-0 decision to the Chicago Kingpins at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Bauer Bottom, now 6-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. Ouro Kronii earned his 4th save in 5 chances.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Deviver Votto didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and State College trailing 2-0, Votto retired Mike Pizzaman to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Votto, with a wink.

The loss makes State College 33-47.
