Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Chicago Kingpins and Puerto Rico Ranas.

Chicago left-hander Chudigal Son pitched his team to victory over the Puerto Rico Ranas at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. The final score was 4-3. Son, now 8-7, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs.

Joe East had a big 3-run home run for the Kingpins in the bottom of the first inning. With Chicago leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 34-year old left-handed pitcher Jean Girard [BOT] and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Kingpins on top, 4-0.

"I like the roll we're on right now," said East after the game.
