Kingpins Handle State College, Snag 7-2 Win

Another day, another victory for the red-hot Chicago Kingpins.
Chicago Kingpins starter Avery Time turned in a top-notch performance against the State College Swift Steeds at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0. The result was a win for the Kingpins, 7-2. Time got the win, improving to 6-5. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 5.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs.
Chicago used the hitting of Showtime Jones to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Kingpins on top, 1-0. For the game, Jones had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Time.
The winning streak has now reached 8 games for the Kingpins.
