Cowgill Deals Seattle 6-2 Setback
The Cancun Toros knocked off the Seattle Sea Serpents, 6-2, in Champions Conference action at Coliseo Toros, presentado por VINS. Cancun pitcher and Morgantown, West Virginia, native John Cowgill had an outstanding performance. The Sea Serpents fall to 5-8 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2078 season.

Cowgill tossed 109 pitches over 7.1 innings to clinch the win for the Toros. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while racking up 12 strikeouts in the game.

"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Cowgill.
