The Boise Raptors picked up a win at The Power House, downing the Buffalo Surge, 2-1. On the mound for Boise was right-hander Juicy Jumbo, who played a pivotal role in the win. The third-place Surge have lost 11 consecutive games.

The Raptors got a big at-bat from right fielder Smalls. For the game, Smalls went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Boise a 2-0 lead.
