Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Crabs
Despite a fine performance by center fielder Erol Kove, the New York Voyagers lost to the Providence Crabs, 8-6. Kove went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Legends Conference East-leading Crabs are 39-26.

Providence used the clutch hitting of Calvin Coolcrab to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Crabs ahead, 8-6. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Coolcrab said. "We did a good job of that today."
