Bats Fail for Sea Serpents in 4-1 Loss

Calm Chicken pitched a dandy of a game to help the Indianapolis Apex beat the Seattle Sea Serpents, 4-1. With the win, Indianapolis upped its record to 45-36.
Chicken, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 9-8. In 8.2 innings of work, Chicken gave up 1 run on 2 hits, while racking up 6 Ks. He kept the Sea Serpents punchless, offensively.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Chicken.
