Voyagers Pocket 4-2 Win Against Vancouver

Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the New York Voyagers got the win.
The New York Voyagers rode a solid performance from 30-year-old starting pitcher Joey Moose Jr. to a win, beating the Vancouver Vandals, 4-2, at Vaughn's House. Moose Jr., now 10-5, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs.
Shortstop Diego Ramieriez made an impact for New York, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Holly Sheet in the bottom of the second. For the contest, Ramieriez was 1 for 3 with a double.
Ramieriez called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
New York leads the Legends Conference East by 10½ games.
