Pathfinders Win at Vancouver, 3-2
|
The Toronto Pathfinders faced a tough opponent in Vancouver pitcher Johnny Tatum, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Scudder Forty-Three Stadium by a final score of 3-2. Tatum went 6 innings and allowed no runs. Picking up the save was Iyama Kloser, his 8th. Toronto, with the win, is 15-51.
Cam'Ron Bailey III chipped in for Toronto, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning. For the game, the center fielder went 2-4 with 2 singles.
"We'll put that win in the can," said Bailey III, "and go after the next one."
