Ohi Kau Delivers Walk-Off Win for Toros
|
The Cancun Toros earned a close win over the Indianapolis Apex, thanks in part to Ryan Lee. The Cancun left-hander, who leads the Champions in wins with 11, played a key role in the 3-1 victory. The win went to Lizzie WOOOOHOOOO in relief, making him now 5-2. James Noble took the loss for Indianapolis. Cancun has run its win streak to 5 consecutive.
Cancun got a clutch hit from Feka Ohi Kau. The third baseman launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"From pitch one to the last pitch, Ryan was aggressive," said Cancun manager .
