Stars Win, 10-4, at New Orleans

The Nashville Stars racked up a win at Full Moon Stadium, bumping off the New Orleans Rougarous, 10-4. Dizzy Stoner, who started for Nashville, pitched effectively for his team. Stoner, now 8-6, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. Nashville raised its record to 40-28 with the win.
The Stars got a big hit from left fielder Jake Kulik-Warren. In the top of the sixth, Kulik-Warren pounded a grand slam home run to right. His 14th home run of the season put the Stars ahead, 10-1.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Kulik-Warren.
