The Providence Crabs picked up a win at The Island, courtesy of Count Crabula. The left-hander helped his team stop the Outer Banks Aviators, 3-1. Crabula, now 3-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Now 6-8, the Aviators have not played well this season.

Providence used a well-timed hit by JD Pants to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Crabs ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
