Adkins Buzzsaws Buffalo Bats in 3-1 New York Win
|
In a tight affair between the New York Voyagers and the Buffalo Surge, pitcher Taylor Adkins was in the zone. The New York right-hander helped his team win the game, 3-1. Ransom Jones got credit for the save for New York. It was his 5th of the year. At 13-1, the 2075 Voyagers have been nearly flawless so far.
Adkins was effective against the Surge, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Buffalo to just 1 run on 3 hits over 8.1 innings.
