Nashville Sends Dublin Packing with 3-0 Loss
Animal Kingdom brought his A-game to help Nashville defeat the Dublin Rebels, 3-0. Kingdom, now 9-5, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 10, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Zachary Vega III closed it out for his 14th save.

The Stars got a big hit from shortstop Jimmy Lumber. Facing Dublin pitcher Marsh Mellow Jr. in the bottom of the sixth, Lumber pounded a 2-run double to left. His 30th double of the season put the Stars ahead, 3-0.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Kingdom.

The Stars, at 57-28, have a comfortable 17-game lead in their division.
