Vancouver Gets 4-1 Road Win
|
The Vancouver Vandals got a stellar performance from pitcher Andy Beans, who handcuffed the Boise offense en route to a win, 4-1, at Hammond Park. The save was credited to M4XX V3L0, his 6th. The Vandals, at 32-38, sit in third place in the Legends Conference West.
The Vandals had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 4-1, Vancouver, with one out. Boise, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Beau Nappeteat dug in at the plate, but on a 1-2 slider, he struck out.
