Pathfinders Take Nail-Biter Over Vandals
|
The Vancouver Vandals got a sterling performance from pitcher Johnny Tatum, but the Toronto Pathfinders still prevailed, 6-5. Tatum threw 6.0 innings allowing 3 runs. The Vandals, now 5-9, continue their poor start.
The Pathfinders procured the win, in large part because of shortstop Nolan Windsor Jr.. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"We need to get rid of the bad mojo," said Windsor Jr.. "Maybe this win will help."
