Toros Need Extra Frames to Get Past Raptors
The Cancun Toros topped the Boise Raptors, 5-3, in 11 innings at Hammond Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Cancun pitcher Ryan Lee. Cancun, at 53-34, is 5 games up in the Champions Conference West.

Cancun used a timely hit from Carlton Beaty to get the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Toros ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

In postgame comments, Beaty said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
