The New Orleans Rougarous trumped the Providence Crabs, 4-2, at Full Moon Stadium. New Orleans designated hitter Chauncey Ingram was terrific. He went 3-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Picking up the save was Stu Macher. He's now 2 for 8 in save chances. The Rougarous go to 32-56 with the win.

Providence had a runner on 2nd in the top of the eighth. With two out, Migs Mayfeld stood at the plate, hoping to find a gap. Instead, he flied out. The score remained 3-2, New Orleans. The Crabs never could mount a comeback.
