Pathfinders Rally to Nose Past Indianapolis
The Toronto Pathfinders faced a tough opponent in Indianapolis pitcher Romeo McFlourish, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Brickyard by a final score of 6-5. McFlourish went 7.1 innings and allowed 4 runs. Reliever Roomba Macintosh picked up the win. His record improves to 4-0. James Noble, who is tied for 6th in the Champions in holds with 3, took the loss. "Fire" Aaron Boone, credited with the save, is now 6 for 11 in save opportunities.

Toronto relied on the bat of Mortimer Dog to get the win. The second baseman ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pathfinders ahead, 6-5. For the game, Dog had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

"It was a solid team effort," Dog said. "That's usually what it takes to win."

With the win, the Pathfinders are 28-60.
