Voyagers Hand Lunar Base 4-1 Loss
|
Taylor Adkins pitched a gem to lead New York to victory over the Lunar Base Space Rangers, 4-1. Ransom Jones earned the save for New York, his 13th of the year. The first-place Voyagers have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.
Ethan Shadow hit a run-scoring triple off Cornelius George-Braxton in the bottom of the second, which put the Voyagers in front, 1-0. Shadow had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"Bottom line," said Lunar Base skipper , "we didn't play well enough to win."
