Buffalo starter J.C. Swishman pitched well against the Boise Raptors at The Power House. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-4, in 13 innings. At 37-52, Buffalo is in last place in the Legends Conference East.

The decisive blow was delivered by Homer Slamson in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a run-scoring double off fireballing right-hander George Georgeas to win the game for Buffalo. The home crowd went nuts.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Swishman.
