Lunar Base SkyDome was the site of a tense game between the Lunar Base Space Rangers and Seattle Sea Serpents.
The Seattle Sea Serpents banked on Mejiro McQueen and he turned in a masterful performance. The left-hander kept the Lunar Base hitters in check. The final score was 3-1, Sea Serpents. McQueen yielded 1 run over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 0, and struck out 9. His record improves to 9-8. Kip Treadwell was credited with the save, his 12th in 21 tries.
Willderman Pérez, who is tied for 10th in the Champions in triples with 3, had a direct impact on the outcome. Pérez contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Seattle up, 2-0.
"Every loss hurts," said Lunar Base manager . "But this was a tough one."
Seattle is now 42-47, Lunar Base 26-63.
