Rougarous Get Close Win Over Apex, 5-4
The New Orleans Rougarous had to overcome a big game from Indianapolis catcher Gabriel Katcher-Scudder to leave Full Moon Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning 5-4. Katcher-Scudder went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2. New Orleans is now 49-25, Indianapolis 43-31.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With New Orleans trailing 4-3, Aaron Rhysand III hit a fastball from Romeo McFlourish to left for a 2-run double. Just like that, the Rougarous had a walk-off win.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Indianapolis manager .
