New Orleans turned a good effort from starter Brian Eshleman III into a win over the Seattle Sea Serpents at Full Moon Stadium. The final score was 5-2. Eshleman III, now 1-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 11, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. LeeLoo Dallas Multi-Pitch collected save number 1.

Air Yordong had a big solo home run for the Rougarous in the bottom of the fourth inning. With New Orleans leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he sized up a curveball from Talk O'Bell, who finished 3rd in the Champions in wins with 13 in 2075, and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Rougarous on top, 3-1.

"Brian giving us the start that he did was huge," said New Orleans manager .

The loss lowers the Seattle record to 9-6.
