San Antonio Absorbs 7-4 Loss to Vancouver
|
Chuck Nasty, who finished 2nd in the Legends in ERA with 3.01 in 2072, was locked in. The left-hander led the Vancouver Vandals to a 7-4 win against the San Antonio Sloths at The Treehouse. Nasty, now 15-8, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Vancouver is now 59-32, while San Antonio is 44-47.
Brooks Walker, the Vancouver shortstop, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to make the score 6-1, Vandals. For the game, Walker was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI.
