The Vancouver Vandals knocked off the Boise Raptors, 6-2, in Legends Conference action at Hammond Park. Vancouver pitcher and Walnut Creek, California, native Chuck Nasty had an outstanding performance. Boise, at 21-70, has lost 12 straight.

Vancouver used a clutch at-bat from Akshay Hrishikesh to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Vandals ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Hrishikesh said after the game.
