Space Rangers Get 4-1 Win Versus Outer Banks
|
The Lunar Base Space Rangers beat the Outer Banks Aviators, 4-1, at Lunar Base SkyDome. Starting pitcher Robert Green was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The Space Rangers sport a record of 30-47.
Rhyno Legg had a big run-scoring double for the Space Rangers in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Lunar Base leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from Joe Kelly and swatted a double to right. It was his 34th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Space Rangers ahead, 2-0.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Green.
