Aviators Pull Off Thrilling 3-2 Win in Extras
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Outer Banks Aviators and the Lunar Base Space Rangers, Kim Ji-Woo was the difference-maker. The Outer Banks right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The win for the Aviators lifted their record to 44-34.
There were several reasons the Aviators beat the Space Rangers, but one factor was Beckett Brooks. In the top of the tenth, the Outer Banks shortstop came to bat and hit a run-scoring single. It staked his team to a 3-2 lead.
"It was terrific getting this win," Ji-Woo said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
