Aviators Get 9-5 Win Versus New York
The home crowd had a good time watching the New York Voyagers and Outer Banks Aviators get after it.

The Outer Banks Aviators defeated the New York Voyagers by the score of 9-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Patrick Eshenbaugh. Eshenbaugh went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs for the Aviators on the day. The winning pitcher was Joseph Mathys Hendry. He tossed 111 pitches over 6.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits.

Julio Ruiz Jr. had a big 2-run double for the Aviators in the bottom of the third inning. With Outer Banks leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from PDub Woods, who is tied for 9th in the Legends with a 9.5 K/9 rate, and swatted a double to center. It was his 22nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aviators ahead, 3-0.
