Rougarous Slap 1-0 Loss on Death Valley

Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the New Orleans Rougarous and Death Valley Scorpions.
Dash Jackson, who is tied for 7th in the Champions in innings pitched with 150.2, never let the Scorpions get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his circle change, to pitch the Rougarous to a win, 1-0. Jackson picked up the win for New Orleans, going 7.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 6-10. Ea Nasir, who is tied for 7th in the Champions in holds with 2, nailed down the save.
Honk Shue, who finished 3rd in the Champions in batting average with .306 in 2071, had a direct impact on the outcome. Shue contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put New Orleans up, 1-0.
"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Jackson.
The Rougarous now have a record of 35-58 with the win over Death Valley.
