The Vancouver Vandals got a superb performance from pitcher Andy Beans, but the Cancun Toros still won the game, 3-2. Beans threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Cancun has now won 3 straight, while the Vandals have lost 3 in a row.

Cancun used a timely hit from Victor Cortez to get the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Toros ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
