Buffalo Wins, Tomlin goes 4-for-4
The Buffalo Surge beat the San Antonio Sloths, 9-7, at The Power House. J.C. Tomlin, in particular, was impressive. He went 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Tim Westbrook, credited with the win, is now 4-1. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits. Frigg Delling got the save, his 14th in 18 chances.

Tomlin had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-2 sinker from Redd Rockman, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Surge a 8-7 lead. It was the 14th home run of the year for Tomlin.

"It was a solid team effort," said Tomlin after the game.

The loss makes San Antonio 45-35.
